BKD Professionals Invest in Cutting-Edge Skill Development & Training

Members of the BKD Forensics & Valuation Services division recently attended a three-day conference in Las Vegas that included presentations from some of the world’s leading experts on key issues related to damage calculations, fraud investigation, money laundering investigations, FCPA investigations, Benford’s Law and valuation issues.

The conference, sponsored by Praxity AISBL, a global alliance of independent CPA firms, attracted some of the world’s leading valuation, damages and fraud authorities. Among the invited guests were Robert Dunn, author of Dunn of Damages; Mark Nigrini, author of Forensic Analytics; Nancy Fannon, author of The Comprehensive Guide to Lost Profits Damages for Experts and Lawyers; and Aswath Damodaran, author of Damodoran on Valuation.

BKD professionals and other alliance members had unique one-on-one access to many of these cutting-edge leaders and thinkers.

Our clients should benefit from our efforts to expand our ability to interact with other leading fraud, damages and valuation professionals. We’re also working to enhance our knowledge base, improving our ability to take on the most complicated issues and projects.
